Featuring a drawing, wooden sculptures and clay figures, the exhibition showcases works created swiftly, with sincerity, fearlessness and joy. Skúladóttir started creating in her senior years when she began using the workshops of the Association the elderly. She had her own unique approach to whichever medium she chose. Skúladóttir had an intense focus and her instructors noted how she would go into a kind of trance when she worked. Her approach set her apart from her peers in the workshop and she didn’t compare herself to anyone.
