Oddrún shows works done in mixed media technique on canvas, cutting and printing and painting in variations.Kristbergur shows works on paper. They are also done in mixed media, cut, printed and painted.
Poems are part of the exhibition, but Kristbergur has been writing poems in the style of haiku.
There are pictures prepared based on them and also haiku´s based on pictures in collaboration between the siblings.They met earlier this summer to discuss this exhibition and agreed that their work for this exhibition was a bit like two sides of the same coin.
KRISTBERGUR studied at the Icelandic School of Art and Craft from 1979 to 1985 and at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam from 1985 to 1988. He has exhibited his work in many places, both at home and abroad.His works are owned by several public museums in Iceland. He is a member of the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists and The living art museum. He has published books with his works and one book of poetry. He has received an Artist's Salary five times.ODDRÚN studied at the Akureyri school of visual arts 1985-'86 and the Icelandic School of Art and Craft 1986-'90, where she graduated from the Department of Painting.
She has held several solo exhibitions of her works and participated in group exhibitions, including the Torg Art Fair in Korpúlfsstaðir 2018 to 2022. Oddrún is a member of the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists.Exhibition
