Reykjavík Art Museum hosts a graduation exhibition for BA students in the Department of Fine Arts, Department of Design, and Department of Architecture at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.

At the group exhibition of graduating students from the Iceland University of the Arts, over 70 students in fine art, design, and architecture present their final projects. The works offer insight into the students’ research and their practices over the past years, during which they have developed their individual approaches and methods.

In the exhibition, students engage with complex subjects, each equipped with their own distinct tools. Their works reflect on catastrophe, hospitality, and social apathy—political statements sit alongside playful humor. They experiment with both form and content, and the outcomes take shape across a range of media: through hats, paintings, typefaces, and housing in an era of intensifying climate change, just to name a few.
